Alfred Rexroth GmbH & Co. KG – The Company
"Success through Cooperation" is the guiding principle of Alfred Rexroth GmbH & Co. KG, a metal processing company.
The company Alfred Rexroth, formerly Otto Leh, started production in 1938, in Berlin Tempelhof. Today the Berlin plant employs 136 people.
At a branch in Veitshöchheim, near Würzburg, there are 16 employees.
In 1990 the management of the Alfred Rexroth company was able to purchase back the production plants of the Otto Leh company in Rhinow (Brandenburg), which had remained in the former GDR. Currently there are 55 people employed at that plant.
The Alfred Rexroth GmbH & Co. KG is equipped with modern machinery, which allows to satisfy all kinds of customers' needs. The company is a supplier in the fields of:

Nowadays, it seems rather unusual for a company to have humanistic and anthroposophical values, yet Alfred Rexroth GmbH & Co. KG has become successful with exactly these principles. As a specialist in the field of CNC-sheet metal processing, we feel responsible for our customers and employees, not only from an economic point of view but from a wider perspective.
Our customer base is spread over many different industry sectors. We manufacture and deliver at the high standard of quality which is characteristic of our company, whether you require copper claddings for components of wind power plants, point mechanisms for traffic engineering, tank construction for medical engineering, metal sheets for switch cabinets, housings, components for energy generation, or parts for turbine construction.
From the prototype to small and medium production runs, everything is possible for our company, as we develop more and more into a systems seller. Our experts work directly from customers' drawings. By means of our workshop oriented programming, which was developed in close cooperation with the Technical University of Berlin, our customers' wishes can be satisfied at the highest level of expertise within the shortest space of time.
Our experience speaks for itself: Alfred Rexroth GmbH & Co. KG has been using CNC-technology since 1980. Right from the start, the aim of Rexroth's management has been to deploy state-of-the art equipment, in order to ease the workload of our employees and to optimise production.
Even though our production has now been automated - through the use of numerically controlled laser and water jet cutting machines, as well as modern machining centres - the craft skills and the creative intellectual capabilities of our employees are still the most important resource of the company. This applies equally to our 55 employees at Rhinow, and our 16 specialised workers at Veitshöchheim. People are our top priority; the experienced workers pass on their knowledge to the younger ones.
Our Berlin site is soon to be extended, which will lead to further technological development and improvement of our logistics services. Even today our company has developed outstanding logistics solutions, such as a collective warehouse, an inventory control system for customers, and 'just-in-time' delivery. Even with all this progress, Steiner's teachings and the needs of the human beings remain the basis of our actions. Our profits go into a charitable foundation, while an organically run farm provides fresh produce for our employees.
